Get to know me

I am a passionate trumpet player and music educator with a diverse, international career in performance and teaching. A graduate of the prestigious Glier National Music College in Kyiv, Ukraine, I began my musical journey performing with renowned ensembles such as the Kyiv Academic Municipal Orchestra, the Big Band of the National Circus of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian National TV and Radio Orchestra.

In 2004, I moved to Canada with my family. After settling into a new life, I reconnected with my musical roots by performing with local ensembles and orchestras. I’ve played with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, created and conducted the Hudson Street Jazz Orchestra, and continue to perform occasionally with groups like the BC Philharmonic Orchestra.

Alongside performing, I founded my private teaching studio to share my love of music with the next generation. Teaching is one of my greatest passions. I truly believe in the transformative power of music and take great joy in helping young students discover their musical voices.

With a patient, encouraging, and personalized approach, I focus on developing both strong technical skills and a lasting love for music. Whether it’s learning the trumpet, another brass or woodwind instrument, or exploring music theory, I strive to make every lesson inspiring, challenging, and fun.
